Se conecta a la Raspberry Pi mediante un cable plano corto. La cámara está conectada al procesador BCM2835\/BCM2836 de la Pi a través del bus CSI, un enlace de mayor ancho de banda que transporta los datos de píxeles desde la cámara hasta el procesador. Este bus viaja a lo largo del cable plano que une la placa de la cámara a la Pi.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEl sensor cuenta con una resolución nativa de 5 megapíxeles y una lente de enfoque fijo integrada. En cuanto a las imágenes fijas, la cámara es capaz de tomar imágenes estáticas de 2592 x 1944 píxeles y también admite vídeo de 1080p30, 720p60 y 640x480p60\/90.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSe conecta a la Raspberry Pi mediante uno de los dos pequeños zócalos de la superficie superior de la placa.
