Data record shield for Arduino NANO
A new Arduino NANO shield can go fast, save the data to the files on any FAT16 or FAT32 format SD card to be read by any conspiring spreadsheet or analysis program?
The included Real Time clock dials all your data with the current time, so you know exactly what happened when.
Ā
Note that this item does not come with a NANO module (you need one to use with the shield), or an SD card.Ā It does not come with the RTC battery.
Ā
The SD card interface works with FAT16 or FAT32 format cards 3.3 V level circuit prevents damage to your SD card
The Real Time Clock (RTC) keeps the time running even when the Arduino is unplugged.Ā The backup battery lasts for years
The included libraries and sample code for SD and RTC mean you can start quickly
Prototyping area for welding connectors, circuits or sensors.
The integrated 3.3V regulator is a reliable reference voltage and also works reliably with SD cards that require a lot of power to operate
Works with Arduino NANO or MICRO
SpecificationsĀ
SD card interface works with FAT16 or FAT32 formatted cards
Real time clock (RTC) keeps the time going even when the for Arduino is unplugged. The battery backup lasts for years (CR1220 -Ā NOT INCLUDED)
Included libraries and example code for both SD and RTC mean you can get going quickly
Prototyping area for soldering connectors, circuitry or sensors.
Onboard 3.3v regulator is both a reliable reference voltage and also reliably runs SD cards that require a lot of power to run
Is this shield compatible with Arduino boards and what extra items do I need?
It is compatible with the Arduino line and works with NANO or MICRO boards. It does not include a NANO module, SD card, or RTC battery, which must be provided separately.
What storage formats are supported for the SD card?
The SD card interface supports FAT16 and FAT32 formatted cards.
What is included with the shield and what is not included?
Included are libraries and sample code for SD and RTC, a prototyping area for wiring sensors, and an onboard 3.3V regulator. The NANO module, SD card, and RTC battery are not included.
How does the real time clock behave when power is removed?
The RTC keeps time when the Arduino is unplugged, and the backup battery lasts for years. Note that the CR1220 battery is not included.
What are the practical usage notes for this shield?
It provides a prototyping area for soldering connectors and sensors and uses a 3.3V level circuit to protect SD cards during operation.

This multimeter has been working perfectly since I started using it. I really want to express my gratitude to the thinkrobotics team for their excellent product quality.
The product also came with good packing, which ensured it arrived in great condition without any damage during transportation.
Got my package on time. The product i ordered needed some setup, and i wish they would have given a guide or said something about it on the site. Had to figure it out on my own, but it all worked out in the end.
