Magigoo Pro PPGF - The 3D printing adhesive for Glass Reinforced Polypropylene

Magigoo Pro PPGF is designed to work exclusively with Glass Filled Polypropylene type filaments. This adhesive for professional use, makes sure prints stick firmly when the print-bed is hot and that the part is easy to remove once it cools. This unique and innovative mechanism means that no tools are needed to remove prints from the bed. They just pop off when the bed cools down.

Why Magigoo Pro PPGF?

MagigooĀ® Pro - Glass filled Polypropylene, acts as a thermally activated inter-facial layer, allowing for better interactions, both at the micro and molecular level, between the printing bed and the printing materials. It is generally recommended to print according to the printing temperatures recommended by the filament supplier. The printing conditions vary between one printer and another.

To find the best temperature one could start from the lower end of the recommended settings and increase the bed temperature in 5 °C increments. This should be done with standardized calibration prints..

An additional benefit of Magigoo® Pro - Glass filled Polypropylene, being thermally activated, is that it will release the print upon cooling. Again, different printers, print surfaces or filaments will have slightly different released conditions but as a general rule a reduction in temperature of 30-40 °C will be sufficient to remove your prints without any effort.

The best and most reliable performance is achieved when applied as a thin layer. This means that cleaning and re-applying between prints is recommended especially on longer prints or hard to print with materials.

My print isn't sticking. What now?
The most common cause is bed temperature being too low. Try increasing in 5–10°C increments until you find the sweet spot. Also check: Bed is properly levelled Magigoo layer is thin and even (a heavy layer can actually reduce adhesion) You're using a Magigoo product suited to your material
My print is sticking too well — elephant's foot.
Bed is likely too hot. Decrease the bed temperature in 5–10°C increments. Elephant's foot (where the first few layers bulge out) usually disappears once you find the right temperature.
    The applicator popped off. Help!
This usually happens when the bottle was squeezed instead of pressed. The applicator is designed to release product only when the nib is pressed down. Just push it back firmly — it should snap back into place. For future use, remember: press, don't squeeze.
