New Style Mini Arduino RC Mecanum Wheel Omni Robot Car Chassis Kit with TT Motor
Product Parameters:
- Frame: 4.5mm thickness acrylic (Protective film on the surface )
- Wheel: 60mm diameter mecanum wheel
- Motor: 1:48 TT motor
- Weight: 0.5kg (Not including controller)
Mecanum wheels are very useful to increase the maneuverability of a robot. These wheels come with 45º rollers that move independently and allows the robot to move forward, backward, sideways, diagonally or spin in place. But please, don’t make the confusion with omnidirectional wheels. Mecanum wheels are different than omnidirectional wheels, but the result is almost the same. Depending on which wheels rotate in which direction, the robot will change the heading or spin in place.
What is included in the kit and what is not included?
The kit includes the 4.5 mm acrylic frame with protective film, 60 mm mecanum wheels, and 1:48 TT motors. It weighs about 0.5 kg without a controller, and a controller is not included.
How can the mecanum wheel setup move the robot?
The 45 degree rollers on the mecanum wheels allow forward, backward, sideways, diagonally or spin in place movement.
How does mecanum wheel movement differ from omnidirectional wheels?
Mecanum wheels are different from omnidirectional wheels, but the result is almost the same for maneuverability.
Is this kit suitable for Arduino based projects and is a controller included?
It is described as an Arduino RC kit, suitable for Arduino based projects. A controller is not included in the kit.
What are the main physical specifications of the frame, wheels, motors, and weight?
The frame is 4.5 mm acrylic with protective film, wheels are 60 mm in diameter, motors are 1 to 48 TT motors, and the total weight is 0.5 kg excluding the controller.
