A Hex nut is a kind of fastener that is a metal bock with a screw thread that can be fitted on to a bolt. The name is a derivative of its appearance i.e. A hex nut is shaped in the form of a hexagon. Besides being one of the most easily and widely available nuts, the stainless steel heavy hex nuts can be teamed up with various bolts, screws, anchors, studs and threaded rods.
These nuts have good chemical resistance and good tensile strength.
