Ask AI about this product

Mini Stepper Motor for Lighter projects requiring precise geared control.

The motor has a reduction ratio of 64:1, so it offers a decent torque for its size at speeds of about 15 RPM. It is a unipolar stepper motor which has 5-wires.

As stated before the pack contains ULN2003 Stepper Motor Driver which is a Mini Stepper Motor Driver. The main purpose of ULN2003 is to amplify the control signals from the Arduino, so as to drive the 28BYJ-48 Stepper Motor.

If you will give the ULN2003 stepper driver a certain pulse signal, it will drive step motor to a certain angle. The control of Stepper Motor movement angle is done by controlling the number of stepper motor driver pulses. The speed of the stepper motor rotation is also controllable by controlling the frequency of the pulses.

Specifications
  • Reduction Ratio: 1:64
  • Step Angle: 5.625
  • Voltage: 12V
  • Diameter: 28mm
  • 5-Line 4-phase can be driven by ordinary ULN2003 chip ,can also be connected in phase 2 development board used for supporting the use of a direct plug and easy to use stepper motor used in the development board

What are the main specifications of this stepper motor and driver?
It is a 12V 5 wire unipolar 4 phase motor with a 1:64 reduction ratio, 5.625 degree step angle, and about 15 RPM. The motor diameter is 28 mm and the package includes a ULN2003 driver for easy control.
How do I drive the motor using the ULN2003 driver?
The ULN2003 amplifies control signals from an Arduino or similar controller to drive the motor. Sending pulses to the driver determines the motor position, and the pulse frequency controls speed.
Is this motor suitable for beginners or easy to use with development boards?
Yes, it is described as easy to use and can be driven by ordinary ULN2003 chips. It is suitable for use with development boards for direct plug and play operation.
What wiring and compatibility should I know?
The motor has 5 wires for a 5 line 4 phase configuration and is compatible with standard ULN2003 drivers.
What resources come with the product?
The pack includes the ULN2003 driver and you can access the datasheet, sample code, and tutorials to help you get started.
