Fill Light and Metal Protective Housing

The WonderCam vision module adopts industrial-grade production technology and supports the installation of a metal protective shell. The module also has 5 bright fill lights on board, which can be turned on with one click in dark light environments.


Support Firmware Update

The WonderCam vision module has a built-in USB interface, which can be connected to a computer for firmware upgrade to improve module performance.

Holes Compatible with Lego

Color Recognition

Recognize colors and frame the identified colors on its display. Providing data information on the image position, size etc. User can program color detected, tracking of color etc.


Facial Recognition

WonderCam detects face and identifies if it matches according to conditions and image on its display. The controller performs facial detection, recognition, tracking etc program from the image presented, position and size.


Object Recognition

In the item recognition mode, the WonderCam vision module can select and display the corresponding item name on the display screen. Through the IIC interface, external control devices can obtain parameters such as the position and size of items in the screen.

Capable of recognizing the barcode, the WonderCam vision module frames QR codes and retrieves barcode data. Data can be transmitted to external devices using the serial port.

Road Sign Recognition

Tag Recognition

Detects AprilTag and display the image in frame. Through 12C connection, the connected external controller can compute the precise 3D position, orientation and identity of the tags relative to the camera.

Built-in Operation Interface, One-click Training and Learning

WonderCam is pretty easy-to-use AI vision module. It has the built-in machine learning technology that enables WonderCam to recognize faces and objects. Moreover, by long pressing the learning button, WonderCam can continually learn new things even from different angles and in various ranges. The more it learns, the more accurate it is.

Feature Learning - Feature learning captures the distinctive features of an image, allowing for a comparison of similarity between the current image captured by the camera and the recorded picture. This enables a quick assessment of whether two images are identical, facilitating the detection of subtle changes within the image and achieving basic classification.

Image Classification - The trained MobileNet model can be employed for image classification, categorizing images based on their features. The WonderCam vision module seamlessly integrates with the waste sorting models of 12 waste categories included in the kit. This integration facilitates straightforward access to image detection and waste sorting capabilities.

One-click Training and Learning - The WonderCam vision module does not require complicated training processes and algorithms. It has its operation interface and can complete AI training with one click.

Vision Line Following - The WonderCam vision module can identify the direction of color lines in the picture. Through the IIC interface, the external control device can obtain the position and direction of the lines in the picture to realize vision line tracking.
