Our facility is located in humid Florida, so we set out to find an easy way to keep the humidity from killing our prints. The Filament Drying Desiccant was the result.

Creates enough of a relative humidity (Rh) gradient to absorb both surface moisture and water particles captured inside the filament

To use simply remove the outer shrink wrap and pop off the cap, then insert the canister into the center of your filament spool. Store the spool in an airtight container and watch the humidity drop! More information can be found here.
NOTE: Desiccants work by absorbing moisture in their surroundings. The Filament Drying Desiccant is super good at this job, but even it will get saturated with water molecules eventually. To recharge it, simply toss the whole canister into an oven at 200 °C or more for 2 hours to remove the water. DO NOT MICROWAVE.
