Construction Details

Conductors and tantalum nitride resistive element are applied to an alumina substrate. The resistor is laser trimmed to value, then coated with a protective epoxy. Terminations are metallized and plated for solderability, with options for matte tin or SnPb finish on a nickel barrier layer. Fully tested and packed in carrier tape, with Pb-free parts using paper tape and SnPb parts using plastic tape.
