Construction & Mounting:
Constructed with copper terminations welded to a resistance alloy strip, the resistor's value is adjusted via control of width and optional notch trimming. The zero-ohm jumper is formed from copper strip with a Pb-free finish of 96% Sn / 4% Ag alloy. The design ensures minimal heat transfer into the PCB, keeping hot spots thermally distant from solder joints.
High precision applications benefit from Kelvin 4-terminal mounting, which provides accurate current sensing by separating current and voltage paths.
