Important Usage Notes

This resistor is designed for use with proper heatsinking. The maximum base plate temperature must be monitored and kept within specified limits to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Attaching a thermocouple to the side of the resistor's base plate is recommended for accurate temperature monitoring. The plastic housing or heat sink temperature alone cannot be used to determine the resistor's power rating.
