Function Structure
Work mode
TCP Server
Serial to IP converters USR-N540 listen on the setting port
and waits for a TCP client connection.
The data which the serial ports sent out transparently
transmit to all connected client via Serial to IP converters N540.
TCP client mode
Serial to IP converters USR-N540 initiate a TCP lint to the set IP address.
If the connection fails, USR-N540 will keep trying to reconnect until it succeeds.
Once the link is successful, the data will be transparently
transmitted between PC and serial device in bi-directional.
httpsD Client
Modbus Serial to IP converters USR-N540 support serial data transmitted to designed server in httpsD way.
WebSocket

Built Websocket link with devices by Websocket of webpage HTML5

Network heartbeat package: Serial to IP converters USR-N540 notify the server
that it is active by sending Heartbeat Package regularly,
and maintain normal network links with the server.
Serial Port heartbeat package: The servers notify the serial device
that it is active, and the user can also actively grab the sensor data.

Application
[Unattended Weighing]
Modbus serial to IP converters USR-N540 connect to the gateway and
the control center remotely controls the switch ON/OFF via Ethernet.
Meanwhile, USR-N540 also support unified use of unattended weighing
equipment like license plate snapshot serial port camera,
weighing instrument, LED promoting screen, card reader,
vehicle induction loop, receipt printer and so on.
