This is a programmer expansion shield that allows your for Arduino board to modify the fuse bits and burn bootloader into external chip and other for Arduino boards.  On-board buzzer and LED indicators, indicating whether the burning is successful, it is convenient for Arduino board designers to batch burning.
Feature:
  • Compatibility: As it uses SPI pins of ICSP interface, compatible with for Arduino UNO R3 / for Arduino Mega2560, can change to the bootloader burner when it is directly plugged onto the two boards.
  • Operating voltage: 5V
  • Operating current: 500mA (max)
On-board buzzer, if the fuse bit is successfully modified, it will sound once, and then if burning bootloader is OK, it will sound once again. If it is not two beeps, burning is failed. You can capture the sound instead of LED lights, so this will improve the efficiency of burning.  On-board LED indicators, HEART BEAT led lights up like a breathing light when powered normally. During programming, the PROG indicator flashes until it finishes. If the programming is unsuccessful, the ERROR indicator (red) will light.  Onboard 28P locking seat for Atmega328P, Atmega168P, Atmega8 bootloader burning.  Onboard ISP_6PIN interface, for the external for Arduino board bootloader burning. On-board ISP_10PIN interface.  On-board FT232RL and CH340G USB to TTL programmer interface for uploading code to the chip on the 28P locking seat.

What is this shield used for?
It is a programmer expansion shield that allows an Arduino board to modify fuse bits and burn bootloader into external chips and other Arduino boards. It also provides on board indicators to show burn status.
Is this compatible with Arduino UNO R3 and Mega2560?
Yes, it uses the SPI pins of the ICSP interface and is compatible with Arduino UNO R3 and Arduino Mega2560. It can be used as the bootloader burner when directly plugged into those boards.
How do the indicators and buzzer help during programming?
The on board buzzer sounds once when fuse bits are modified and again if bootloader burning succeeds. If there are not two beeps, burning has failed. The HEART BEAT LED breathes during normal power, the PROG indicator flashes while programming, and the red ERROR LED lights if programming is unsuccessful.
What interfaces are available on the board?
The board includes a 28P locking seat for Atmega328P, Atmega168P, and Atmega8 bootloader burning, an ISP 6PIN interface, an ISP 10PIN interface, and an onboard FT232RL and CH340G USB to TTL programmer interface for uploading code to the chip.
What are the power requirements and current limits?
Operating voltage is 5V. The maximum current is 500 mA.
